Welcome to MadDumb (the “Game”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Game distributed on Google Play.
Summary: We use Google’s AdMob to show ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and other data to provide, measure, and improve ads. We do not collect personal information that directly identifies you, unless you choose to contact us.
1) What data is collected
A. Data collected by us
- No account data: The Game does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email, or phone number.
- Support messages (optional): If you contact us for support, we will receive the information you include in the message (e.g., your email address and the content of your request) and use it only to respond.
B. Data collected automatically by partners (AdMob)
We use Google AdMob to serve ads. AdMob may automatically collect certain information from your device such as:
- Advertising identifiers (e.g., AAID on Android)
- IP address, app and device information, approximate location
- Ad performance data (e.g., impressions, clicks, crash logs)

2) How we use information
- To operate the Game and deliver advertising via AdMob.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Data retention
We retain support emails for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request. AdMob determines its own retention periods—please refer to Google’s policies linked above.
3) Sharing of information
- Service providers: We share data with Google AdMob to serve ads in the Game.
- Legal: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or to protect our rights and users’ safety.
- No sale of personal data: We do not sell your personal information.
4) Your choices & controls
- Ad personalization: You can control ad personalization in your device settings (Google Settings → Ads) and through AdMob’s consent messages where available.
- Reset advertising ID: You can reset or limit the use of your device’s advertising identifier in Android settings.
- Opt‑out under regional laws: Where applicable (e.g., GDPR in the EEA/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California), AdMob’s consent or opt‑out mechanisms are presented to you in‑app.
5) Regional disclosures
EEA/UK (GDPR)
For users in the EEA/UK, AdMob may act as an independent controller for advertising data. Where required, consent will be requested before showing personalized ads.
California (CCPA/CPRA)
For California residents, AdMob may treat personalized advertising as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. AdMob’s Do Not Sell or Share options will be honored where supported.
6) Children’s privacy
The Game is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
7) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate for a small indie game to protect the limited information we handle (e.g., support emails). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8) Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Last updated date at the top reflects the latest changes. Material changes will be highlighted in the Game or on this page when feasible.
